About
Established in 2000, with a friend of mine, Blue Hill Flower Farm made its debut. But at that time, we both were Moms to little kids and our time was not our own. So, I took a break, a long break. Flash forward 20 plus years later and my daughter said to me, “Mom, if you are going to spend all your days working in your gardens, then you should make a business out of it and sell your flowers." She was right and here I go again. Flowers have always been my passion and now I get to share them with you.

Why Local?
Most cut flowers you see for sale in the U.S. have already taken a long journey. Around 80% are imported from overseas, traveling thousands of miles and often spending weeks in transit. By the time they arrive, they’ve been treated with chemicals to preserve their appearance and have only a few days of life left once they’re in a vase.
We believe there’s a better way.
We focus on growing vibrant, seasonal flowers that are meant to be enjoyed fresh. We cultivate unique varieties that grow naturally in our climate. Our flowers are harvested at their peak and prepared quickly for you—no chemicals, no long-distance travel, just beautiful blooms straight from the field to your hands.
Supporting local flowers means more than just freshness. It means investing in your community, encouraging sustainable practices, and experiencing flowers the way they were meant to be—full of character, color, and life.
